HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The gunman in a deadly shooting at a southwest Houston nightclub in which one person died and another was injured is described as a regular customer. Witnesses told police following the shooting outside a southwest Houston nightclub that they recognized the man, but couldn't provide his name.
The shooting happened outside the H2O night club in the 9400 block of Country Creek. We're told as a private party there was wrapping up, one of the guests didn't want to leave and an altercation broke out, during which two people were shot. One of those shooting victims, a man in his late 20s or early 30s, died. The other was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
Police say the shooter fled the scene in a red Ford Explorer.
