HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Firefighters say a building was completely damaged in a morning two-alarm blaze in north Harris County.
It happened at an abandoned building that was once Club Bugatti in the 14700 block of Kukendahl.
Firefighters say the building, which once housed Club Bugatti, is a total loss.
One firefighter was treated at the scene for heat exposure, but no injuries were reported.
Authorities say it appears someone pried open the door handle and lock in the front of the business to gain entry. The fire is currently under investigation.
"The cause of the fire is still under investigation, the building has been vacant for almost one year," said Lt. Dean Hensley with the Harris County Fire Marshal's Office.
Several agencies, including the Ponderosa Fire Department and the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department, responded to the scene.
Authorities say north bound Kuykendahl remains closed with hose lines in the roadway.
