Fundraiser Saturday will benefit Cassidy Stay, lone survivor of Spring tragedy

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A large fundraiser this weekend will raise money for the only survivor of a shooting in Spring earlier this month.

A barbecue will be held for 15-year-old Cassidy Stay. Her parents and four younger siblings were shot to death execution-style. Police say the man who did it was Cassidy's estranged uncle.

The fundraiser tomorrow will be from noon to 8pm at 19023 Joanleigh Drive in Spring. There will be live music and kids' activities.

Cassidy Stay spoke to hundreds of supportive neighbors and friends in her hometown of Spring.
