Carriage driver nearly thrown from bridge after crash in Ohio

CINCINNATI, OH -- It was a dramatic rescue in Ohio after a carriage driver was nearly thrown from a bridge after a crash.

The woman was teetering over the edge of a bridge in Cincinnati on Thursday. Police say her carriage was crossing the bridge when the horse suddenly changed direction.

A car hit the carriage and that sent the woman flying.

Eyewitnesses say the pylon between the pedestrian walkway and the roadway likely saved her life.
