SPARKS, NV (KTRK) -- Ano inflatable play set for kids went airborne at a carnival in Sparks, NV.
Witnesses say a small whirlwind called a dust devil blew through a Fourth of July carnival sending an inflatable slide soaring into the air.
Nicc Thompson said, "And the wind caught it just perfect. Shot it toward a tree where my son was sitting, and then it just flipped it up into the air and I mean it went higher than a lot of the buildings and then it landed way over there."
It blew several stories into the air before landing 300 feet from where it originally sat.
One boy had just gotten off the slide right before it took flight.
Another witness says the carnival was just about to open up the slide to more kids.
No one was seriously hurt.
