Carlos Correa and fiancee Daniella Rodriguez celebrate their dog Groot's birthday
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Carlos Correa has one more celebration before the year ends.
The Houston Astros All-Star and his fiancée Danielle Rodriguez showered their dog Groot with gifts and a treat. The celebration was captured on video and posted on Instagram late Thursday.

We first got light of Groot Correa's social media presence earlier this month. In the dog's Instagram bio, Groot is described as "the cutest Pomsky you'll ever see." A Pomsky is a cross between a Siberian Husky and a Pomeranian.
It has been a festive year for the Correa household. The superstar shortstop was a big part of the Astros' World Series championship win. Not one to stop the celebrating, Correa proposed to Rodriguez, who is a former Miss Texas, just minutes after the team clinched the title.
