Thee people hospitalized after car drives into canal

CROSBY, TX (KTRK) -- Three people ended up in the hospital after the car they were in crashed into a canal.

It happened around 9pm last night on Cottontail and Pleasant View just south of Crosby.

Harris County sheriff deputies say the driver failed to make the turn off Cottontail onto Pleasant View, went up an embankment and crashed the convertible into the water.

Three adults were in the car and bystanders helped them all get out safely. They did all suffer minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The Baytown Dive Team helped recover the car from the canal.
