California girl with cancer gets wish granted on scavenger hunt

CHINO, CA -- A Chino girl diagnosed with kidney cancer is headed to Walt Disney World in Florida later this month after getting her wish granted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation!

The non-profit revealed where she was going at the end of a special scavenger hunt on Saturday. Esperanza Duran, 5, followed a trail of clues before finally discovering that she and eight family members were going to the theme park.

"I never been to Disney World before," Duran said.

Eyewitness News first met Duran when she met her idol Adam Levine at a Maroon 5 concert at the Honda Center in April with the help of our Circle of Eyewitnesses.
