Burglars smash into food mart, target ATM inside

SPRING, TX (KTRK) -- Harris County Sheriffs Deputies are searching for the suspects who crashed a pickup truck into a convenience store while trying to steal the store's ATM.

It happened around 3:30am Wednesday at the Shell Gas Station along Spring Stuebner Road.

When deputies arrived, the white pickup truck was still on the scene with a mangled ATM machine on the ground. The suspects had taken off and are still on the run.

Deputies are reviewing surveillance video in hopes of identifying the suspects
