Houston (KTRK) -- Residents in the Braeswood area of southwest Houston tell Eyewitness News that thieves have been targeting their neighborhood.

Brett Brevard says the crooks stole $30,000 worth of his property in the past year, including his truck. He put up security cameras a week ago and it didn't take long for the cameras to be used.

Security video shows a burglar breaking into the home, then coming back for more.

"I see him riding off with a bag of tools on his handlebars," Brevard said. "Then he leaves and comes back 20 or 30 minutes later and gets the airless paint sprayer and rides off with it on the handlebars."

Neighbors have also reported other break-ins to authorities.

If you recognize the suspect in the video, you are asked to call police.
