Unidentified female body found in pond near Rosharon

ROSHARON, Texas (KTRK) -- The body of a female was found Saturday afternoon in a pond near Rosharon.

Investigators said the unidentified female was found near Meadow Arbor and Southern Oak in the Lakes of Savannah subdivision.

According to the Brazoria County Sheriff's Office, there was no obvious sign of cause of death.

The sheriff's office did not provide a possible age or name.
