Woman found dead by retention pond in Missouri City

MISSOURI CITY, Texas (KTRK) -- Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in Missouri City.

At about 8:45 p.m. Monday, Missouri City police officers were called to the 4200 block of N. Creekmont Drive for a report of a person down.

When they arrived, they discovered a woman partially clothed with multiple gunshot wounds next to a retention pond by Creekmont North subdivision.

Missouri City police identified the victim as 29-year-old Rachel Renee Delarosa.
