HOUSTON (KTRK) -- From paintings to sculptures, a variety of works from hundreds of artists are on display in downtown Houston this weekend at the Bayou City Art Festival.
This year, there are more than 300 artists to downtown Houston at one of the nation's top ten annual outdoor fine art events. This year's featured artist is Harold Siefert, a Houston-based sculptor specializing in cast bronze with a thorough, yet an uninhibited approach to developing artwork.
There will be plenty of activities for the kids such as printmaking, ceramic tile painting and much more. Houston's favorite foods will also be on site, food trucks, and various food vendors.
Tickets are on sale now at www.artcolonyassocation.org.
The cost for adult tickets is $15 and $5 for children ages 5-12. Tickets are $17 at the gate.
The festival will be this weekend, October 10, 2015 and October 11, 2015 from 10 am to 6 pm
