HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Authorities say a man set fire to his ex-girlfriend's barn in Rose Hill because she told him to leave her the night before.

Craig Sailer, 57, was arrested after a barn fire around 12:30am in the 22600 block of Main Boulevard in northwest Harris County.

During the fire investigation, the Harris County Fire Marshal's Office said Sailer confessed that he set the blaze.

Fire Captain Dean Hensley said, "The investigation found (Sailer) set a fire in his ex-girfriend's barn because she told him to leave earlier in the night."

Sailer is in the Harris County jail on $20,000 bond.

The extent of the damage to the barn is unknown at this time.
