ALDINE, TX (KTRK) -- Authorities say no charges will be filed after a baby accidentally drowned in a backyard pool in the Aldine area.
It happened just before 5pm at a home in the 20000 block of Auguswood Lane.
Authorities say several adults were home at the time and noticed the one-and-half-year-old boy missing. They started searching for him and found him at the bottom of the pool.
The boy had already been pulled from the pool by the time Aldine Fire Department and Harris County Emergency Corp. officials responded. EMS performed CPR on the baby but he was pronounced dead at the Northwest Medical Center.
Right now, no charges have been filed because authorities believe the child's death was accidental.
