Man killed in rollover crash in Atascocita

ATASCOCITA, TX (KTRK) -- A man was killed when his car rear-ended a pickup and ended up crashing into a ditch and flipped over several times in Atascocita.

It happened around two this morning on FM 1960 near Continental Parkway.

Authorities say the victim hit the truck from behind with such force his car was thrown from the roadway.

He died at the scene.

No one in the truck was injured.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
