HOUSTON -- Matthew Murphy is quick to tell people he didn't set out to make a film. He was simply filming himself as he picked up seats he purchased from the Astrodome, and he started talking to other people in the crowd.

What started as a tribute to his grandmother, an avid Astros fan who took him to games at the Astrodome every summer, ended up becoming an award-winning film.

"Last Seat at the Dome" follows Murphy as he picks up two stadium seats he purchased in memory of his Gran Gran. She passed away in 2005, just months after the Astros made it to the World Series.

Along the way, he meets other people with emotional ties to the building, and they sit on the Astrodome's iconic orange cushioned chairs and share their stories.
