HOUSTON -- Houston artist Edgar Medina presents his first solo exhibition entitled "Timeline - a Passage through Emotions" at the Duchesne Academy's Jones Atrium Gallery through the end of October.

Medina features work spanning the entirety of his 6-year professional career. The paintings each embody a different point in time during Medina's artistic development, chronicling how emotions shaped the products he completed as a burgeoning artist. He hopes the theme will inspire passionate young art students to follow their dream.

"I wanted to share what I do to show that it's possible to do art for a living," Medina said.
