KENEFICK, TX (KTRK) -- A complaint from neighbors in the city of Kenefick lead to the arrest of seven people, including a 15-year-old who was wanted on charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child.



Deputies from the Liberty County Sheriff's office made the arrests after conducting an investigation on the home, located at 1473 FM 2797. On December 28, when investigators arrived to the home of Lynda Cameron, two male subjects were standing outside.



They started to yell "Cops are here" and fled to the back of the property as deputies approached, according to Cpt. Ken DeFoor. Upon entering the home, the deputies found and arrested five others inside.



Investigators found methamphetamine, multiple digital scales, marijuana and other drug paraphernalia inside.



Lynda Cameron was charged with the manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and hindering apprehension of a known felon. Brandon Cameron was charged with possession of marijuana. Amber Miller and William Bonds were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. Devin Ballou was arrested on a revocation of warrant and Ryan Brannon was arrested for resisting arrest and on a burglary warrant.



All six of the adults were taken to the Liberty County jail.



The 15-year-old was arrested on four counts of aggravated sexual assault of child warrants. He was transported to Montgomery County and released to juvenile probation for the warrants.
