Fallen electrical wire kills oil field workers in southwest Houston

Two workers were electrocuted in an accident at an oil field in southwest Houston

Two workers have been killed in an accident involving power lines in southwest Houston.

According to Jay Evans with the Houston Fire Department, a crane in an oil field hit an electrical wire, which then fell on at least two workers. Those victims were taken to Hermann Memorial SW Hospital, with CPR in progress. Houston police confirm both workers died from their injuries.

The accident is under investigation. The victims' identities have not been released.
