Postal customers not swayed by break-in warning

HOUSTON

A sign at the front door tells customers to be aware, but some post office customers still didn't get the message. Some lefts purses and handbags in plain view, and one man even left his car running with the windows partially down as he went inside the building.

Houston police say 11 break-ins were reported in the past eight months. Police say the best thing to do is not leave any electronics or belongings in your car in plain view. They advise everyone to lock vehicles doors and park in well-lit areas.
