Harris County deputy constables rescue chase suspect who couldn't swim

Once one of the suspect jumped into the bayou, he called for deputies to rescue him because he couldn't swim.

One man is in custody, another on the loose after a police chase in southeast Houston Friday.

It happened around noon. Harris County Pct. 6 deputies say they tried to stop two motorcyclists from driving the wrong way on Wayside near Spur 5, but the men sped off.

One of the riders ended up in Brays Bayou. He then asked the deputies to save him, saying he couldn't swim.

They did, but the other guy got away.
