Philly schools to start offering free condoms

Calling sexually transmitted diseases among teens an epidemic, the Philadelphia school district is trying something new to solve the problem.

When students return to 22 of the city's high schools, they'll find dispensers with free condoms in the nurse's office.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 25 percent of all new HIV cases in Philadelphia are teens.

Parents can opt out of this program so their children won't have access to the free condoms.
