A case of road rage ended with a crash and a hole on the side of a church last night on Houston's south side. It happened just after 9pm on Bellfort and Parnell. Investigators say a car was driving west on Bellfort when it came up behind a car at a stop light. That light turned green and the driver of the car apparently honked at the two women in front to go.

Police say the women sped up to try and get away from the driver. That's when police say the driver swerved at the women's car, sending them off the road and straight into a church.

"It's definitely a surprise. We actually had a sermon this morning about change. What a change -- a surprise for us," said church musician Kevin Dancy.

Both women were taken to a hospital where they are listed as stable. The driver who police say caused the crash got away.
