Parents and community members will have a chance to talk with HISD officials about their budget review and planning process on Monday.

This comes as the district stands to lose as much as $348 million to make up for the state's current budget shortfall.

HISD is already making plans if that budget is adopted including eliminating teaching positions and programs.

The "HISD and the State Budget Crisis" show is Monday from 6:30 to 7:30pm and can be watched on the district's website Houston ISD.org.
