The driver remained at the scene. The accident is under investigation.
Girl struck by car at middle school
HOUSTON
According to officials with Fort Bend ISD, a 12-year-old girl was struck by a car at about 4:15pm in front of Sartartia Middle School on Homeward Way. She suffered a severely broken leg, but appears to be otherwise alright. The girl is being taken to Hermann Hospital via Life Flight as a precaution.
