HOUSTON Against the Cardinals and Diamondbacks, Pence was 11 for 22 with a .542 on-base percentage. In that period, the Astros went 5-1. Pence scored five runs and drove in 9.

Pence has really come on the last half of this season. Before the All Star break, he was hitting .263. After the break, his average is .333.
