Stolen youth baseball league items found

SPLENDORA, TX A tip call led law officers to raid a house in Splendora Wednesday night. The cops found thousands of dollars worth of items stolen from the Splendora Youth Baseball Association on Monday. Officers found stolen score boards, boxes, food, microwaves, slush machines and baseball gear.

"They work hard to earn the money to buy these things. The parents work hard as well as the board," said Constable Rowdy Hayden with Montgomery County Precinct 4. "This is just a tremendous deal for us to be able to get the stuff back to these kids."

The thieves took about $3,800 worth of property and caused extensive damage to the baseball association's concession stand. Officers arrested one person and want to find three others.
