Violent carjackers sought by police

HOUSTON A couple was stopped at a red light on Airline at Parker overnight when another vehicle pulled up. Police say a gunman shot the driver before driving off with the car. The driver was taken to Ben Taub Hospital in stable condition.

Police think they may be the same carjackers who carried out a similar crime Thursday night, when investigators say a gunman shot the driver and then stole his car.
