METRO close to rail expansion deal

A METRO spokesperson tells us the final negotiations are ongoing for the four new lines, running north, southeast, east and through Uptown. The deal may be decided during METRO's board meeting Thursday.

Any agreement will not include the fifth rail line planned along University.
