Houston police are investigating the deaths of three people on Ridgecreek Drive about 9:50am Thursday. The victims, two males and one female, were found dead inside the home. Their identities are pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office.
Officers responded to a welfare check call after relatives had not heard from the victims since before Hurricane Ike struck. Officers entered the home and discovered the victims deceased. A gas generator was found inside the garage, which had stopped running.
An autopsy will be performed by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office to determine the cause of death.
