Funeral planned for pioneering local doctor

HOUSTON /*Dr. Feigin*/ passed away Thursday from lung cancer, even though he never smoked. He was 70 years old.

Feigin was physician-in-chief of Texas Children's Hospital for 20 years and trained half of Harris County's current population of pediatricians.

His funeral will be Monday at 10am at Congregation Beth Israel.
