'Red Gloved Bandit' remains on the loose

Sugar Land police need your help to identify a man dubbed the 'Red-Gloved Bandit.' Police believe the man captured in the surveillance video seen above is responsible for bank robberies in the Houston area, including Sugar Land.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 30 years old, weighing 220 to 240 pounds, 6' to 6'2" tall, with an athletic build. The suspect wore gloves and a baseball cap in each of the following robberies:

  • The Compass Bank, 11770 University Boulevard, in Sugar Land was robbed May 9.
  • The IBC bank, 10570 State Highway 6, in Fort Bend County was robbed March 19
