Cafeteria worker gets $50,000 for being nice

BROWNSVILLE, TX Melina Salazar wondered why 89-year-old Walter "Buck" Swords stopped showing up last summer. She says he was a regular, wanting his food very hot and served a certain way. Then Salazar noticed the man's July obituary in a newspaper.

Days before Christmas, Salazar learned that Swords had left her $50,000 and a 2000 car.

Salazar says her advice to anyone in her line of work is -- smile and be nice.
