NEW YORK -- Police are searching for the man who swindled an Apple store employee out of $58,000 worth of iPhones.
Police say the suspect pretended to be a messenger at the Apple Store on West 14th Street last month and said he was there for a pickup.
An employee then handed over three boxes filled with iPhones.
Police say the suspect then took off in a white Ford van.
The NYPD describes the suspect as a male, black, 45-55 years of age, dark complexion, bald head, 5'10, 195 lbs. last seen wearing a blue shirt, black sneakers and camouflage pants.
