Two-alarm fire breaks out at apartment complex

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Firefighters were busy Tuesday morning battling a two-alarm fire at a west Houston apartment complex.

It happened on Locke Lane near Westheimer.

The HFD district chief says the fire started in an unoccupied unit. The flames spread to the hallway. At least another unit got smoke damage.

Officials say the fire may have started in an AC/heating unit. No injuries were reported.
