Anadarko Tower demolished in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, Texas (KTRK) -- A recognizable building in The Woodlands was demolished Sunday morning.

Visibility of the implosion was limited due to the surrounding tree cover, and authorities had not established a public viewing area.

During the demolition, parts of Timberloch and Woodloch Forest were closed to traffic. It did not impact traffic on Woodlands Parkway or the nearby North Freeway.

It only took 10 seconds for the 11-story tower to come tumbling down.
