The above video depicts Les Baugh, a Colorado man who lost both arms in an electrical accident 40 years ago. Baugh visited the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory this past summer where he became the first bilateral shoulder-level amputee to wear and operate two of the lab's prosthetic limbs.
Watching Baugh be able to move the prosthetic arms is amazing. In the video, Baugh is able to grasp up a cup and a ball with the arms simply by thinking. Check out this cool feat of science in the video above.
