MIAMA, Florida (KTRK) -- Police say there's a new trend among thieves targeting vehicles and it might surprise you.
Law enforcement officials said airbags are the new car stereos because of how much they're targeted by thieves.
Surveillance video captured three suspected thieves allegedly stealing airbags from 11 cars.
It happened May 18 northwest of Miami.
Police said the men stole three airbags from the parking lot and then stole airbags from eight different vehicles in two other locations.
No arrests have been made.
The airbags they stole are being sold for between $400 and $500 online.
