Galveston College unveils new logo

Galveston College faculty and staff returned to the campus in early January 2015 to attend the General Assembly before the start of the Spring Semester. At the General Assembly 160 faculty, administrators, professional and classified staff witnessed the unveiling of the 50th Anniversary logo. On hand to do the honors were College

President Dr. Myles Shelton, Regents Armin Cantini and Fred Raschke and Miss Galveston and Miss Outstanding Teen Galveston.

After the unveiling the 160 employees unwrapped a golden box at each table filled with computer duffels with the same 50th Anniversary logo on them for all employees. The 50th Anniversary logo will now be used in all promotions and advertising for Galveston College through May of 2017.

The Anniversary logo incorporates the use of the Royal Blue color from the College's traditional Rust and Royal Blue logo with a Gold color for the 50th Golden Anniversary. It has the number 50 with the zero surrounding the lighthouse that has stood at the College's Beacon Square entrance since 2006.
