Texans rookies participated in their first on field session this morning with a walk-through.
An afternoon practice will follow but many of the newest Texans reflected on their first few days on the job.
Number one pick Jadeveon Clowney is already saying the right things, it's all about the books.
"It is a lot, you take it one at a time, slow, it's a slow process," he said. "We have a long time, so I'm just trying to learn as much as possible, and keep getting better at it."
Fourth rounder Tom Savage is the only quarterback at camp this weekend and will get all the snaps. He has yet spoken to any of the other quarterbacks but is looking forward to it.
Nose tackle Louis Nix has been compared to many big players in the NFL, but is ready to be one of the players people are compared to.
"I watched a lot of football, there are a lot of good players," said Nix. "I am trying to be my own person and trying to do my thing and right now just trying to prove it."
