Artist 'Gonzo247' talks plans to re-paint iconic mural

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston aerosol artist "Gonzo247" discusses plans to restore the iconic East End mural "The Rebirth of Our Nationality."

The mural was created nearly 45 years ago by artist Leo Tanguma, but time and the elements have taken a toll on the artwork.

Gonzo247 traveled to Denver to meet with Tanguma to discuss the restoration effort and plans to re-paint the piece over the next year or so.
