HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The University of Houston said a natural gas leak has cleared after reports near the TDECU Stadium parking garage on Holman Street on Monday morning.
UH posted about the gas leak on X, formerly known as Twitter, shortly before 9 a.m.
At about 3 p.m., the university said the leak was clear. Officials added that Holman Street was safe to enter again after being blocked off from Scott Street to Cullen Boulevard.
In the update, officials also noted that all entrances and exits to the stadium garage and lot 15c have also reopened.
Students and staff were asked to avoid the area, and no injuries were reported.
It's unclear what caused the gas leak. Authorities did not issue a shelter-in-place.
