HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- In just a few short hours, University of Houston freshman guard Kingston Flemings ' name could be called on one of the biggest stages in sports.
Back in April, the All-American guard declared for the draft following the Houston Cougars Sweet Sixteen exit in the 2026 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.
"I just want anyone I play with to enjoy playing with me, so whatever the coach is going to need, that's what I'm gonna go out there and do," Flemings said. "You know, I don't have a one-track mind. I don't care about scoring that much, I don't care about assists or anything like that, as long as we're winning; that's all I care about."

Flemings capped off his freshman year by earning second team All-American and was named to the All-Big 12 First Team and the Big 12 All-Frehsman team.
UH head basketball coach Kelvin Sampson said Flemings is humble, unselfish, and the ultimate team player.
"The first thing that jumped out to me was how selfless and loyal he is," Sampson said.
He has all the qualities an NBA team is looking for. He's projected to be taken in one of the top-10 picks, but Sampson believes he's better than that. "I don't think he's a top-10 pick, I think he's a top five pick if I was an NBA team, I'd draft him top five," Sampson said
Just before the draft, Flemings penned a letter to fellow NBA General Managers on his journey to collegiate basketball and beyond.
In addition to Flemings, the Coogs have three other players who are set for the draft on Tuesday night: Chris Cenac Jr., Emmanuel Sharp, and Milos Uzan.
