Feeling like summer until late this week

The calendar may say fall, but it still feels like summer in Houston. Meteorologist Travis Herzog says today through Wednesday will bring more summer steam along with a small chance for downpours. No flooding rains are expected.

A fall cool front will move through Thursday, but Travis says you won't really feel the changes until Friday and the weekend. The bulk of the rainfall associated with the front will impact west and central Texas, so our rain chances are less than 50%. You'll notice the humidity dropping during the day Friday, then you'll feel the slightly cooler temperatures over the weekend.
