Houston Rockets player Dwight Howard took several kids to watch Pixar's 'Inside Out'

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Dwight Howard teamed up with The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Houston and Fandango for a special screening of the new Disney Pixar movie "Inside Out."

They watched the film at a theater in Richmond. And the kids got a box of popcorn handed to them by the big man himself. Howard says he's a huge Pixar fan, and his favorite movie is "Finding Nemo."

"I'm a big kid trapped in a big man's body. You only have one life, and I think you got to live it to the fullest and enjoy yourself," said Howard.

"I'm really excited. I've never really met a celebrity this up close before and so the fact that he's doing this, I'm just very grateful and very thankful because he didn't have to do it. It's out of the goodness of his heart," said movie-goer Malachi Connor.

Pixar is owned by Disney, which is also the parent company of ABC-13.
