One dead in fiery wreck involving cement mixer in NW Harris Co.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- One person is dead in an accident involving a concrete mixer in northwest Harris County.

It happened around 1:30pm along the northbound feeder road from Highway 249 at Cypresswood. The concrete mixer somehow fell off the feeder bridge and caught fire next to a ravine below.

A HazMat crew is at the scene. The accident is causing a major backup both on 249 and Cypresswood.
