Police found their decomposing bodies sitting in recliners in the living room March 29 after a relative asked officers to check on the 63-year-old brothers. Their conditions suggested that both men had been dead since 2011. There were no obvious signs of foul play.
Now, Chattanooga residents are formulating their own theories. Was there a gas leak that killed them? Was it a double suicide? Were they poisoned? Or did they just sit down one day and die together?
