If you look at Bill O'Brien's resume, it really fits what Texans' owner Bob McNair wants in a head coach.

First off, he has head coaching experience with Penn State. Plus, he has NFL experience as a coordinator with the New England Patriots and according to media reports, he will interview with the Texans.

O'Brien is probably best remembered for dressing down Tom Brady when he was with the Patriots in 2011. That year, they went to the Super Bowl.

At Penn State, he took over after the Jerry Sandusky scandal. Sanctions took away scholarships and bowl appearances, but they remained competive.

Last week, former Bears head coach Lovie Smith interviewed with the Texans.
