Doors opened at 10am Tuesday, and thousands of people lined up for the chance to receive a free hot meal.
Volunteers dished out plate after plate of turkey with all the fixings, along with several deserts including apple pie.
But the Christmas Eve Big Feast isn't just a free meal.
"We have food baskets, we have clothing, toys, information on employment and other opportunities," said Stephanie Lewis with the City Wide Club.
Organizers wanted to make sure everyone would have a Christmas dinner so all the families went home with a free food basket.
